Types Of Goats

Beetal goat

          Beetal goats are the most common breed of goat due to their dual utility as meat and milk producers.

kamori goat

Kamori goat breed is used for milk and meat production. Geographical concentrations include Hyderabad, Nawabshah, and Larkana.

SINDHI DESI

Sindh desi goat, a Pakistani breed, is the result of a cross between the kamori and chappar breeds. Sindh desi is well-known for its milk and meat production. Sindh desi goats are small in size with a black body, but white, grey, and spotted animals are also seen, and the head and part of the neck are black. It is one of the best-registered goat breeds in Pakistan, and it can be found in Sindh province's Dadu, Nawabshah, Sukhur, and a portion of Larkana. Sindh desi buck weighs about 27 kg and does weigh about 23 kg on average. It can produce 0.9 to 1.8 litres of milk per day.

Kajli (pahari) 

The Kajli goat breed is a medium-sized breed that is primarily found in the Balochistan and Punjab Provisions of Pakistan districts of Loralai and D.G Khan, respectively. This native goat breed is distinguished by its black colour, long hair, and twin births. The average body weight is between 30 and 25 kg.
Particular Attention

KAGHANI GOAT

The Kaghani goat is a domesticated goat breed. It originated in the Hazara district valley and can also be found in the surrounding areas of NWF Province, Pakistan.

In some areas, it is also known as the Bakerwali goat. Kaghan Valley is the breed's home range (Abbotabad, Kohistan, Mansehra and Swat).

This breed has medium hair that hangs short and straight. They have little backward horns that are straight. The doe's udder is underdeveloped, but she has teats. It is one of the best-registered fast-growing goat breeds in Pakistan, and it can be found in the districts of Gujrat, Jhelum, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province.
The average height of a buck is 55 cm, and that of a doe is 50 cm. The average buck weighs approximately 34kg, while the average doe weighs approximately 23kg.
